Small Groups
We encourage fellowship in small groups as well as at our worship services. This helps new and longer-standing members get to know each other and to build friendships. Personal growth, pastoral care, and a deepening relationship with God also happen within the groups when time is spent sharing joys and struggles, studying God’s word together and providing encouragement and mutual support.
There is opportunity for everyone at Immanuel to be involved if they wish. Our small groups reflect the diversity of our congregation. We have men’s groups, women’s groups and mixed groups for people of all ages. Some have a major focus on study and others on fellowship or service, but generally they have aspects of all three. Some groups are held during the day and others in the evening.
